In 2019, it started with one doctor in Newport Beach who believed medicine should work for the patient first — always. Not for an insurance company. Not for a hospital system’s quotas. Not for anyone but the person sitting in the exam room.
That doctor’s solo practice quickly became a husband-and-wife team — Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Lee — and as patients stayed and their needs grew more complex, the practice grew right along with them, bringing on the specialists and services patients were actually asking for, one at a time, only as the need became real. That patient-first instinct is still how Newport Concierge Physicians grows today: now the only full-service, full-spectrum concierge medical practice based in Newport Beach, with a full network of physicians and specialists across multiple locations, still led by Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Lee.
We remain completely independent — no outside ownership, no financial ties pulling our doctors in directions that don’t serve you. That independence isn’t a talking point; it’s what lets our physicians practice medicine the way it was always meant to be practiced: unfiltered, unrationed, and entirely in your interest.
