Eric Zhuang, M.D.

Dr. Eric Zhuang completed his internal medicine residency at UC Irvine and specialty training in hematology and oncology at the Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA. His medical degree is from the University of Illinois at Chicago. During his training, Dr. Zhuang supplemented his knowledge with medical research in novel prostate cancer treatments. He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Biomedicine and Pharmacotherapy. He is also an active member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncologists, and the American Society of Hematology.

Despite relocating several times for training, Dr. Zhuang is a California native at heart and understands the importance of individualization. It is his goal to understand and tailor treatment plans to help each patient achieve the best possible outcome.

Embodying what he preaches, Dr. Zhuang loves to stay active with physical recreation. He plays in tennis leagues sponsored by the United States Tennis Association and enjoys spectating as well. He most recently enjoyed attending the U.S. Open in New York, but plans to attend all the Grand Slams. Dr. Zhuang also plays in ice hockey leagues throughout the year. When he is not doing either of those things, you can probably find him at the driving range or a golf course working on his swing.

“Every person is unique and different. It is my goal to individualize their treatment and use my expertise to help each and every one of my patients achieve the best outcome possible.“
